Peptide Reconstitution Guide
General instructions for reconstituting lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides.
Supplies Needed
- Lyophilized peptide vial
- Bacteriostatic water (BAC water)
- Alcohol prep pads
- Sterile syringe and needle
- Refrigeration (after mixing)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1
Wash your hands thoroughly.

Draw the desired amount of BAC water into the syringe.
4
Slowly inject the BAC water down the inside wall of the peptide vial.
Avoid spraying directly onto the powder.
5
Gently swirl the vial until fully dissolved.
Do not shake aggressively.
6
Refrigerate after reconstitution.
Most peptides are stored at 36–46°F (2–8°C).
Important Notes
- Use sterile technique at all times.
- Most reconstituted peptides should be used within 30–60 days when refrigerated.
- Never freeze after reconstitution unless specifically recommended.
- Discard if solution becomes cloudy or discolored.
